What data we process

• If you join the list: your email address, language, the platform you're interested in (App Store, Google Play, Steam or browser), where on the site you signed up, the campaign you came from (if any), the date and the consent text you accepted, and an encrypted digest (hash) of your IP address to prevent abuse.
• If you just browse: anonymous usage statistics (pages viewed, buttons pressed, language, device type and approximate country). We don't use cookies for this or identifiers that follow you from one day to the next: each day an anonymous identifier is computed with a key that is deleted at the end of the day.

Why

1. To tell you when Horseback Gunslinger launches and send you game news.
2. To deliver your pre-registration gift (500 gold coins and the Founder Mariachi skin).
3. To learn which platforms interest people most and improve the site.

Legal basis

Your consent (an unticked box when you sign up, confirmed with the link we email you) for points 1 and 2, and our legitimate interest in understanding aggregated, anonymous use of the site for point 3.

Gift and game account

To deliver the gift, the game only receives a hash (irreversible digest) of your email. If you log into the game with an account using that same email, the gift lands in your mailbox. Your email in plain text is not shared with the game. If you play with a different email, we'll send you a personal code.

Processors

The website host and the email delivery provider, under a data processing agreement and preferably within the European Union. We don't sell or hand over your data to third parties.

How long

For as long as you stay subscribed. If you don't confirm your email, we delete it after 30 days. Anonymous statistics are kept in aggregate form.

Your rights

You can access, rectify, erase, object to, restrict and port your data by writing to privacy@horseback-gunslinger.com with the subject «Privacy». You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email. You can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or your local authority.

Minors

You must be at least 14 to sign up. If you are younger, ask a parent or guardian to do it for you.

The game

The game has its own privacy policy (accounts, multiplayer and usage statistics with your permission), which will be published here before launch.
